The invention discloses a method and device for adjusting rearview mirrors during lane changing of vehicles. The method comprises steps that under the condition that it is determined that a vehicle ismerged into another road from a current road, a road included angle is determined according to navigation information of the vehicle or an image of a scene in front of the vehicle, and the road included angle is an included angle between the current road and the another road to be merged into; a lane included angle is determined according to the image of the front scene of the vehicle, and the lane included angle is an included angle between a vehicle body of the vehicle and a lane line of a lane where the vehicle travels on the current road; and the rearview mirror included angle is adjustedaccording to the determined road included angle and lane included angle, and the rearview mirror included angle is the included angle between a rearview mirror of the vehicle and a vehicle body of the vehicle. According to the method for adjusting the rearview mirror during lane changing of the vehicle, the view field range of the rearview mirror of the vehicle can be adjusted according to the included angle between the roads and the posture of the vehicle under the condition that the vehicle is about to be merged into another road, so driving safety is improved.
