The invention relates to a method for detecting the tendency of a passenger motion sickness in a vehicle (25) by means of a bar-and-frame test, an image designed to carry out the bar-and-frame test being displayed on a display (1) inside the vehicle (25), the image comprising at least one frame (2) and a bar (3) arranged inside the frame (2), wherein the bar (3) and the frame (2) enclose an angle(alpha, beta) with respect to the horizontal spatial axis (5) and/or the vertical spatial axis (4), respectively, greater than 0 degree and less than 90 degrees; by the input device (22), a request tocorrect the bar (3) to a vertical position or a horizontal position is issued; the invention includes recording an input performed by the passenger (18) for the correction bar (3); the bar-and-frametest is evaluated by an evaluation device (23) on the basis of the recorded input of the passenger, and at least one measure for preventing and/or counteracting the occurrence of motion sickness is issued on the basis of the evaluation result.
