The invention is applicable to the technical field of traffic information collection, and provides a traffic volume detection method and device based on video data and terminal equipment. The method comprises the steps: determining the centroid coordinates of each vehicle in an i

    -frame video image and an (i+1) -frame video image; calculating and detecting a first centroid distance between any first centroid coordinate in the i -frame video image and any second centroid coordinate in the (i+1) -frame video image, if the first centroid distance is less than a first preset threshold,detecting whether the first centroid coordinate and the second centroid coordinate are located at two sides of a preset virtual line, and adding 1 to the current vehicle number when the condition issatisfied; counting the number of vehicles corresponding to a preset number of video image sequences according to a method for counting the number of vehicles according to the first centroid distance;and calculating the traffic volume corresponding to the preset number of video image sequences. The number of vehicles counted by the method is more accurate, the obtained traffic volume is more accurate, and analysis and processing of road traffic operation conditions and the like are facilitated.

    本发明适用于交通信息采集技术领域,提供了一种基于视频数据的交通量检测方法、装置及终端设备,该方法包括:确定第i帧视频图像和第i+1帧视频图像中的每一车辆的质心坐标,计算并检测第i帧视频图像中任一第一质心坐标与第i+1帧视频图像中任一第二质心坐标之间的第一质心距离,若第一质心距离小于第一预设阈值,检测第一质心坐标与第二质心坐标是否位于预设虚拟线的两侧,成立时当前车辆数目加1;按照根据第一质心距离统计车辆数目的方法,统计预设数目的视频图像序列对应的车辆数目;进而计算预设数目的视频图像序列对应的交通量。本发明统计的车辆数目更准确,获得的交通量也更准确,有利于道路交通运行状况等的分析处理。
