One or more embodiments of the invention provide a lane-changing auxiliary active safety system based on an ultrasonic radar. Obstacles and moving vehicles are detected by virtue of ultrasonic radar components arranged on two sides of a vehicle body, and whether a collision risk exists is judged by combining lane-changing actions of a driver, so that an environment sensing range and an applicablevehicle speed range are expanded; the traditional lane-changing auxiliary ADAS function based on a wave radar can be replaced for independent carrying; the cost is greatly reduced compared with a millimeter-wave radar; the system and the lane-changing auxiliary function based on the millimeter-wave radar can also be carried at the same time, and the safety of the active safety system is further improved.
