The invention discloses an overwater power generation device. An airtight floating equipment table is divided into an upper cabin and a lower cabin by a cabin partition plate in the middle, fresh water is stored in the lower cabin, a power generation cabin is installed in the lower cabin and divides the lower cabin into a U shape, the fresh water flows on the two sides through a water flow channelat the bottom, and therefore a turbine at the bottom is pushed to rotate; and the turbine drives a generator in the power generation cabin to work through a connecting shaft mechanism, and electric energy generated by the generator is stored at a storage battery in the upper cabin. The overwater power generation device is simple in structure, capable of reducing the production and maintenance cost, capable of being applied to various overwater environments, extremely small in limitation to the use environment, extremely long in service life, good in stability and beneficial to guaranteeing the working stability.
