The present disclosure provides a strategy of attachment and sealing of an electrically powered vehicle battery pack to a vehicle body. The present disclosure details an electrically powered vehicle equipped with one or more attachment and seal assemblies for securing a battery pack to the vehicle. An exemplary attachment and sealing assembly may establish a mid-span attachment point of the battery pack, and may include a pass-through component, a fastener, and a seal. The fastener may be positioned relative to the pass-through component using a bottom-to-top or top-to-bottom method. The sealmay be radially sealed between a portion of the battery pack housing assembly and the pass-through component.
