According to the method, the method uses a mobile phone and an AR technology to inquire the conditions of vehicles on multiple lines at the same time, and specifically comprises the following steps: picture recognition: generating a graphic analysis code through the AR technology and graphic information of a bus stop board, and activating an inquiryfunction; and character recognition: inputting character information of the bus stop board through a mobile phone to serve as a query parameter, and obtaining a query result. The system comprises a picture recognition unit and a character recognition unit.
