The invention provides a lifting control method of an electric lifting mechanism, and belongs to the field of electric lifting mechanisms. The lifting control method includes the steps that when a first operation part is subjected to pressing operation in the descending direction of the electric lifting mechanism, a pressure detection unit responds to the pressing operation of the first operationpart to output a first pressure signal; when the first operation part is subjected to pressing operation in the ascending direction of the electric lifting mechanism, the pressure detection unit responds to pressing operation of a second operation part to output a second pressure signal; and a controller responds to the first pressure signal to control the electric lifting mechanism to perform ascending motion and responds to the second pressure signal to control the electric lifting mechanism to perform descending motion. The invention further discloses the electric lifting mechanism adoptingthe lifting control method. The lifting control method and the electric lifting mechanism have the advantages that by adopting the structure, a user can more visually control the electric lifting mechanism to ascend and descend. The lifting control method is used for controlling the electric lifting mechanism to ascend and descend.
