The invention discloses a novel building external elevator. A layer of original canopy on a unit door of a residential building is removed, a set of n-shaped steel frames is built at a position closeto an outer building wall, each n-shaped steel frame is composed two stand column frames each composed of four square pipes, an elevator car is arranged in the stand column frames, the elevator car drives transmission wheels by means of a power mechanism composed of two sets of motors and speed reducers, the motors, the worm and gear speed reducers, gears and racks are adopted, and the elevator car can crawl on the racks arranged on the two stand column frames, so that the elevator car is driven to move up and down, the task of carrying personnel is achieved, and the problem that residents climb stairs difficultly is solved.

    一种新型楼房外挂电梯,是把原居民楼的单元门上的一层雨棚拆除,在贴近外楼墙的位置,建设有一组门字型钢架,门字形钢架是由两组各四根方管组成的两个立柱框架所组成,立柱框架内设置有电梯轿厢,轿厢由两组电机和减速器组成的动力机构带动传动轮,采用电机、蜗轮蜗杆减速器和齿轮、齿条,使轿厢能在两个立柱框架上所设有的齿条上爬行,从而带动轿厢上下移动,实现载运人员的任务,解决居民的爬楼难问题。
