The device comprises a motor, a transmission mechanism connected with the motor and an output shaft driven by the transmission mechanism to rotate, a plurality of teeth are integrally formed on the periphery of the output end of the output shaft, and the teeth are used for driving the skylight to reciprocate; a through hole penetrating through the output shaft in the axial direction is formed in the output shaft and comprises a first concave hole, a middle hole and a second concave hole which are sequentially communicated, the first concave hole is adjacent to the input end of the output shaft, the middle hole is a non-circular hole, and the second concave hole is adjacent to the output end of the output shaft; the second concave hole is different from the middle hole in shape and/or size and/or is constructed on different components, and the transverse size of at least one of the first concave hole and the second concave hole is not smaller than the minimum transverse size of the middle hole. The driving device for the vehicle skylight has an emergency escape function.
