The construction method of the ship centralizedprotection area comprises the steps that S1, the centralized protection area is constructed in a segmented mode, part of cabin penetrating pieces are preassembled on wall plates of the centralized protection area, and then air tightness inspection is carried out on the structural weld joint of the wall plates and the weld joints between the wall plates and part of the cabin penetrating pieces; S2,the segmented centralized protection areas are folded and welded to form a complete centralized protection area, the other part of cabin penetrating pieces are installed on the cabin walls of the centralized protection areas, then air tightness inspection is independently carried out on the weld joint between the bulkhead and the other part of the cabin penetrating pieces, and air tightness inspection is carried out on the structural weld joint of the centralized defense area; S3, accessories are installed on the bulkhead, and air tightness inspection is independently conducted on the accessories; and S4, air tightness inspection is carried out on the whole centralized defense area. Air tightness inspection is dispersed to all construction stages of the centralized defense area, the efficiency of air tightness inspection is improved, and therefore the construction period of the centralized defense area is shortened, and the construction cost is reduced.
