本发明公开了防止电梯坠落的自动锁定方法,轿厢失控出现坠落时,拽引绳会失去对轿厢的牵引作用,拽引绳对吊挂轮架的拉力也会减小,吊挂轮架在吊挂弹簧的弹力,及圆盘吊块重力的作用下,吊挂轮架向上梁下运动,同时,吊挂轮架拉紧的拉绳也会松弛,两套被限位安装在轿厢顶部的轿厢锁定装置,在车架弹簧复位弹力,及圆盘吊块对弧形压块的挤压作用下向两侧运动;锁定靴上的锁定偏心轮会与电梯井侧壁摩擦接触,这时,圆盘吊块夹在两件弧形压块之间,使两件被限位安装在轿厢无法回缩,锁定偏心轮在与电梯井侧壁摩擦后会出现偏心转动,锁定偏心轮会迅速顶压在电梯井侧壁上,使轿厢停止坠落。
