The new energy automobile electronic lock comprises a shell, the power mechanism is arranged in the shell and comprises a speed reducing motor and a screw rod; the locking mechanism is arranged in the shell in a sliding mode, and a locking position and an unlocking position are formed in the sliding stroke ofthe locking mechanism; the clutch mechanism is arranged in the shell and connected with the locking mechanism, the clutch mechanism is provided with a joint position and a separation position, and when the clutch mechanism is located at the joint position, the clutch mechanism and the screw rod are in a linkage state to drive the locking mechanism to move towards the locking position or the unlocking position; when the locking mechanism is located at the separation position, the clutch mechanism and the screw rod are in a non-linkage state, transmission between the locking mechanism and the power mechanism fails, the gear motor starts idling without loads until charging is finished, and therefore the electronic lock can adapt to different charging time.
