According to the material lifting device, the forward and reverse rotating motor is arranged, when needing to regulate the height of a box body, people only need to control the forward and reverse rotating motor to operate through a control switch, and therefore, the pulley can be driven to rotate; under action of the steel wire rope, the box body can be driven to move; and under action of the forward and reverse rotating motor, people regulate the height of the box body more quickly, so that working efficiency of people is improved.
