The invention discloses a center variable-pitch propeller helicopter which is composed of four propellers, connecting lines of projections of rotating centers of three identical fixed pitch propellerson the horizontal plane form an equilateral triangle, and the three propellers are arranged on the left side, the right side and the rear side of a helicopter body respectively. The projection of therotating center of the other variable-pitch propeller on the horizontal plane is on the center of the equilateral triangle, the projection of the gravity center of the center variable-pitch propellerhelicopter on the horizontal plane is on the center of the equilateral triangle, and the rotating direction of the center propeller is opposite to that of the left propeller, the right propeller andthe tail propeller. Three identical engines are arranged to drive the left propeller, the right propeller and the tail propeller respectively, the other engine is arranged to drive the center propeller, the power of the engine driving the center propeller is larger than that of the engines driving the left propeller, the right propeller and the tail propeller, and due to the fact that the propeller pitch of the center propeller is variable, the propellers keeps high efficiency within a large speed range. The helicopter is suitable for occasions requiring high-speed flight.
