The invention provides braking equipment and a braking method for a suspension type monorail vehicle. The equipment comprises an upper support, and an upper rotating plate and a lower rotating plate are rotationally installed on the upper support; an air cylinder is fixed on the upper rotating plate; the rear end of the upper rotating plate is concave inwards to form an upper rear end channel; thefront end of the upper rotating plate is concave inwards to form an upper front channel; an upper brake pad is fixed on the lower side surface of the upper rotating plate; the front end of the upperbrake pad is concave inwards to form an upper through hole; the rear end of the lower rotating plate is concave inwards to form a lower rear end channel; the front end of the lower rotating plate is concave inwards to form a lower front channel matched with the upper channel; a supporting cylinder for allowing a piston rod to move is rotationally mounted in the lower front channel; the piston rodis sleeved with the supporting cylinder; a lower brake pad corresponding to the upper brake pad is fixed on the upper side surface of the lower rotating plate; and the front end of the lower brake padis recessed inwards to form a lower through hole. Braking of the suspension type monorail vehicle is achieved through friction between the upper brake pad and a rail beam and between the lower brakepad and and the rail beam, and the braking force is large; and in addition, the arrangement space of the upper brake pad and the lower brake pad is enlarged, and arrangement is convenient.
本发明提出了一种悬挂式单轨车辆制动设备及制动方法,该设备包括上支架,上支架上转动安装上转动板和下转动板;上转动板上固定风缸;上转动板的后端内凹形成上后端通道;上转动板的前端内凹形成一上前通道;上转动板的下侧面上固定一上闸片;上闸片的前端内凹以形成上通孔;下转动板的后端内凹形成一下后端通道;下转动板的前端内凹形成一与上通道配合的下前通道;下前通道内转动安装一供活塞杆移动的支撑筒;支撑筒套设在活塞杆上;下转动板的上侧面上固定一与上闸片对应设置的下闸片;下闸片的前端内凹以形成下通孔。本发明通过上闸片和下闸片摩擦轨道梁来实现悬挂式单轨车的制动,制动力大;此外闸片和下闸片的布置空间变大,布置便利。
