The invention discloses a battery protection device for an electric vehicle, and the device comprises a main body, a battery is fixedly arranged in the center in the main body, an air flow cavity is formed in the outer circle surface of the battery in a winding mode, the right wall of the upper side of the air flow cavity communicates with a fan cavity, the fan cavity communicates with the outside, and a rotatable spline shaft is arranged in the fan cavity; a fan is fixedly connected in fan cavity and located on outer circle face of spline shaft, and a spline rotating part is connected to right end of a spline shaft through a spline. According to the invention, through a mode of cooling after charging, the outer surface of the battery is cooled through the fan when the battery is charged,and through a mode of separating the inner joint from the battery after the battery is fully charged, the battery is protected, so the damage to the battery due to overcharging is prevented; meanwhile, the damage caused by excessive heating of the battery in the charging process can be prevented by controlling separation of the inner connector and the battery.

    本发明公开的一种电动车辆用电池保护装置,包括主体,所述主体内中心固定设有电池,所述电池外圆面绕设有气流腔,所述气流腔上侧右壁连通有风扇腔,所述风扇腔与外界相连通,所述风扇腔内设有能转动的花键轴,所述风扇腔内且位于所述花键轴外圆面固定连接有风扇,所述花键轴右端花键连接有花键转动件,本发明通过先充电后冷却的方式,在电池充电时,通过风扇对电池外表面进行冷却工作,当充满电后,通过将内接头与电池分离的方式,对电池进行保护,防止因过度充电对电池造成损害,同时通过控制内接头与电池的分离,能防止在充电过程中因电池过度发热而导致的损坏。
