The invention relates to the technical field of rail transit, and especially relates to a rail transit platform operation and maintenance method based on the Internet of Things. An application layer,a network layer and a sensing layer are included the sensing layer comprises a data acquisition device of a driving motor arranged on a platform door and a door control system for controlling the platform door, and performs data acquisition on opening and closing of the platform door; the network layer comprises a PSC gateway node arranged in a station and a digital collection server connected through the Ethernet; and the application layer comprises a data analysis system. When the rail transit platform operation and maintenance method based on the Internet of Things is used, the working states of various devices in the platform can be known in time, information is analyzed, a result is analyzed, a maintainer is informed of the result for maintenance, the situation that faults cannot be removed in time is avoided, normal operation of the platform is ensured, and safety accidents are avoided.
