The invention relates to an intelligent driving vehicle service braking system and method and an automobile. When a hydraulic control module fails but a caliper control module does not fail, a caliperexecuting mechanism is made to execute active braking by sending an active caliper braking command, the probability of braking failure is reduced, and the intelligent driving safety is improved. Thesystem comprises an intelligent driving controller, an active braking controller, a hydraulic control executing mechanism and a caliper executing mechanism. The active braking controller comprises a hydraulic control module connected with the hydraulic control executing mechanism and the intelligent driving controller, and a caliper control module connected with the caliper executing mechanism andthe intelligent driving controller. The hydraulic control module and the caliper control module respectively send respective state signals to the intelligent driving controller according to sensor state signals sent by sensors of the automobile; and the intelligent driving controller performs driving active control on the automobile according to respective state signals of the hydraulic control module and the caliper control module.
