The early warning method applied to the power take-off system comprises the steps that when the power take-off system is in an operation state, the oil temperature of a power take-off device is obtained in real time; then, according to a pre-constructed power take-off system heat conduction physical model and the oil temperature of the power take-off device, the instantaneous temperature of a cross shaft is calculated, and according to a pre-constructed cross shaft oil throwing physical model and the instantaneous temperature of the cross shaft, the instantaneous oil throwing amount of the cross shaft is calculated; and then,according to the oil temperature of the power take-off device and the instantaneous oil throwing amount of the cross shaft, the power take-off system is monitored, early warning prompt information isobtained, when the power take-off system operates, the oil throwing amount of the cross shaft and the temperature of the power take-off device can be monitored in real time and early warned, faults are effectively avoided, and the cost of part replacement can be reduced.
