The invention provides a cold region reservoir water temperature dynamic monitoring device and an ice layer thickness inversion method, and belongs to the technical field of cold region water conservancy project monitoring. The cold region reservoir water temperature dynamic monitoring device comprises a floating body, a connecting rope, a data acquisition instrument, a wireless transmission module and a plurality of temperature sensors. The connecting rope is suspended at the bottom of the floating body. The temperature sensors are arranged on the connecting rope at intervals and used for obtaining the water temperature of reservoir water at different depth positions. The data acquisition instrument is arranged on the floating body and is used for acquiring water temperature data acquiredby each temperature sensor. The wireless transmission module is arranged on the floating body and used for sending the water temperature data to the terminal. The cold region reservoir water temperature dynamic monitoring device can monitor the cold region reservoir water temperature distribution in real time, and can conveniently and accurately invert the ice layer thickness in real time according to the cold region reservoir water temperature distribution condition.
