The invention relates to a drum brake air-cooling heat dissipation device and a cooling method. The air-cooling heat dissipation device comprises an air storage cylinder and an air nozzle, the air nozzle is fixedly arranged between a brake drum and a rim, the air storage cylinder is connected with the air nozzle through an air pipe, an air valve is arranged on the air pipe, and the air valve is controlled to be switched on and off through a vehicle-mounted ECU. After the vehicle is started, the vehicle-mounted ECU calculates and judges whether the vehicle is in a no-load state, a half-load state or a full-load state according to an engine rotating speed signal, a vehicle speed signal and an accelerator pedal position signal in a whole vehicle CAN network; during braking, the vehicle-mounted ECU judges the temperature rise condition of the brake drum according to the judged vehicle load state, the brake pedal position signal and the brake time, and if the brake drum is overheated, the air valve is opened, and the brake drum is cooled by compressed air. The compressed air is adopted to cool the brake drum, cold and hot impact of water spraying cooling on the brake drum can be remarkably reduced, the service life of the brake drum is prolonged, signals in a whole vehicle CAN network are fully utilized, and whole vehicle cost control is facilitated.

    本发明涉及一种鼓式制动器风冷散热装置及冷却方法,该风冷散热装置,包括储气筒和空气喷嘴,空气喷嘴固定设置在制动鼓与轮辋之间,储气筒通过气管与空气喷嘴相连,气管上设有气阀,气阀通过车载ECU控制通断。车辆启动后,车载ECU根据整车CAN网络中发动机转速信号、车速信号及加速踏板位置信号,计算判断车辆处于空载、半载或满载状态;制动时,车载ECU根据所判断的车辆载荷状态与制动踏板位置信号,及制动时间,判断制动鼓温升情况,若制动鼓有过热,打开气阀,压缩空气对制动鼓进行冷却。采用压缩空气冷却制动鼓,能显著减小喷水冷却对制动鼓的冷热冲击,延长其使用寿命,本方案充分利用整车CAN网络中的信号,有利于整车成本控制。
