The device comprises a driving part, at least two spiral propulsion buoys, a first carrier and a second carrier, one end of each spiral propulsion buoy is rotationally connected with the first carrier, and the other end of each spiral propulsion buoy is rotationally connected with the second carrier; the driving part is arranged on thefirst carrier or the second carrier and is connected with the spiral propulsion buoys; and the driving part is used for driving the spiral propulsion buoys to rotate so as to provide power required by ship movement. According to the invention, a ship can freely sail in an area with shallow water or unknown water depth, and the working efficiency of the ship is improved.
