The invention discloses a cantilever type liftable installation and maintenance mechanism. The mechanism comprises a lifter and an extending cantilever assembly, the lifter comprises a cantilever arm,a lifting device and a base, the lifting device is arranged between the cantilever arm and the base, and the extending cantilever assembly comprises an extending cantilever, a long supporting rod, adiagonal draw bar and a limiting clamping plate assembly. One end of the extending cantilever is connected with the cantilever arm, the other end of the extending cantilever is rotationally connectedwith the upper end of the long supporting rod, the upper end of the diagonal draw bar is rotationally connected with the end, close to the cantilever arm, of the extending cantilever, the lower end ofthe diagonal draw bar is clamped with the long supporting rod through the limiting clamping plate assembly, and the clamping position of the limiting clamping plate assembly and the long supporting rod is adjustable. By means of the specially-designed lifter and the specially-designed extending cantilever assembly, the cantilever type liftable installation and maintenance work manner can be achieved, the overall structure of the mechanism is greatly simplified, the assembling process is simple, safety is high, and cost is low.
