The invention discloses an electric power steering system for an unmanned single-wheel steering vehicle. The power assisting system comprises a power assisting motor, a speed reducing mechanism and anoutput shaft, and the speed reducing mechanism comprises a first worm connected with the power assisting motor, a second worm, a first worm wheel arranged on the second worm and meshed with the firstworm, and a second worm wheel arranged on the output shaft and meshed with the second worm. According to the electric power steering system for the unmanned single-wheel steering vehicle, a two-stageworm and gear speed reducing mechanism is adopted, the structure is more simplified, the size is smaller, the cost is lower, angle closed-loop control is adopted, and the risk of angle distortion iseliminated.
