The invention discloses hoisting equipment for a steel structure. The hoisting equipment comprises a pre-warning mechanism and a clamping mechanism, wherein the pre-warning mechanism comprises a horn,a contact, a connecting plate, a first hook, a second hook, a connecting rod and a spring, a supporting plate is fixedly installed on the first hook, the contact is correspondingly and fixedly installed on the lower surface of the supporting plate and the bottom end of the interior of a supporting frame, a power supply and a loudspeaker are fixedly installed on a side plate of the supporting frame, and the contact, the power supply and the loudspeaker are connected with electric wires. A second rotating shaft is rotationally connected with the supporting frame, a pointer is fixedly installedon the second rotating shaft, and a dial plate is fixedly installed on the supporting frame corresponding to the pointer. When hoisting is too heavy, the lower surface of the supporting plate makes contact with the corresponding contact at the bottom end of the interior of the supporting frame, so that the loudspeaker is powered on to make a sound, an operator is reminded that the number of the hoisted steel structures is too large, and casualties and device damage caused by accidents in the hoisting process are avoided.
