The method belongs to the technical field of data processing and provides an information acquisition method and device, a terminal device and a storage medium. The method comprises the following stepsthat: initial data and initial image information of a target area are obtained, wherein the initial data is collected by a laser radar according to a first sampling frequency, and the initial image information is collected by a video collector according to a second sampling frequency; the proximity of the initial data and the initial image information is calculated; based on the proximity, initial data and initial image information which are matched with each other are obtained; parameter information of a target object in the target area is determined based on the initial data and the initialimage information which are matched with each other. The parameter information of the target object is determined by using the initial data and the initial image information, time registration is performed on the two data, and the parameter information of the target object is determined by using the initial data and the initial graphic information after time registration so that the determined information of the target object is enabled to be more comprehensive and accurate.
