The invention relates to an installation process for rotary telescopic boarding bridge equipment. The process comprises the following steps of determining an on-site independent assembly unit according to on-site conditions and quality control requirements; installing a fixed channel, a stand column and a stand column turntable; assembling on the ground to form a movable channel, and finishing cable laying on the ground; building a temporary support bracket; and assembling to form a boarding bridge body. In the invention, a whole installation process of the equipment is disassembled; a large load generated on a wharf surface in the installation process is relieved; safe and reliable hoisting of the movable channel is ensured; and the walking mechanism and the lifting mechanism are pre-assembled on the ground so that assembling precision is guaranteed, investment of mechanical equipment and high-place operation are reduced, an construction risk is decreased, construction efficiency is improved, and temporary supporting and dragging requirements of later maintenance personnel on maintenance of the movable channel are met by building the temporary support bracket.
