The invention provides a travel time prediction method based on floating car data. The method comprises the following steps: 1, cleaning data, positioning a map, and calculating simple road section nodes and average speed; 2, calculating an optimal set of non-minimum paths for analysis of historical trajectories; and 3, training a neural network for previously calculated and analyzed data througha prediction algorithm. According to the invention, map matching is carried out on the obtained trajectory data, then analysis and calculation are carried out on the data, and finally prediction and calculation are carried out on historical data through a prediction algorithm, so that the calculated path travel time is more accurate.
