The invention relates to a motor vehicle with a novel transverse plate spring suspension, comprising: a driving assistance system for acquiring one or more of vehicle driving data, environmental dataand load data through a plurality of sensors; and a suspension system, which includes a plate spring and at least two first adjusting assemblies arranged on the plate spring in a sleeving mode. The suspension system is characterized in that the suspension system further comprises at least one second adjusting assembly and a suspension regulation and control module; an adjustable interval is correspondingly formed between the at least one first adjusting assembly and the at least one second adjusting assembly; wherein the suspension regulation and control module is configured to realize mode conversion among at least three rigidity regulation modes determined by analyzing based on vehicle driving data, environment data and load data in combination with a pre-stored mode conversion judgmentcondition in a double-interval independent regulation and/or coupling regulation mode so as to adapt to different driving conditions.
