The invention relates to a cabinet for an aircraft and the aircraft. All data required for flight of the aircraft is stored in a cladding disposed away from the cockpit, and thus the length of wiringrequired is very long. In a cockpit configuration remotely disposed in an avionics cabin, the cable length is shorter. The invention provides a cabinet. The invention provides a further improvement. The cabinet comprises at least one screen (30, 32); the at least one screen allows display of data required for flight control of the aircraft, the data is connected to at least one avionics module (22) for managing the data, the screens at least partially form one of the sides of the cabinet (16), and the one or more modules are mounted within the cabinet, the cabinet having a base (26) that allows the one or more screens to be placed at a desired height. As a result, the cable length between the screen and the avionics module is minimized.
