The invention discloses a vehicle-mounted photovoltaic charging system of an electric vehicle. The system comprises a solar cell panel, an inverter, a storage battery pack, a charging control circuit,a PC terminal and a control module. The solar cell panel, the inverter, the storage battery, the charging control circuit and the PC terminal are connected with the control module. The solar cell panel converts light energy into electric energy and stores the electric energy in the storage battery pack. The control module comprises an MPPT module and an STM32 control unit, the MPPT module is usedfor tracking the maximum power point of the solar cell panel, and the STM32 control unit controls the duty ratio of a DC-CD circuit in the MPPT module through a timer; and the STM32 control unit is used for uploading the data to the PC terminal. By means of the mode, the vehicle-mounted photovoltaic charging system of the electric vehicle can supplement electric quantity for a power source of theelectric vehicle in time, is not limited by the position of a charging station to improve the driving range of the electric vehicle.
