The invention discloses an elevator falling buffering protection device. The device comprises an elevator shaft and an elevator car; a first bearing plate is arranged in the elevator shaft, a first buffer spring connected with the first bearing plate is arranged on the bottom wall of the elevator shaft, and a second bearing plate is connected to the top of the first bearing plate through a secondbuffer spring; vertical sliding grooves are formed in the two opposite side walls of the elevator shaft, and the two ends of the first bearing plate extend into the vertical sliding grooves correspondingly and are provided with stop levers; transverse sliding grooves are further formed in the side walls of the elevator shaft, transverse sliding blocks are connected into the transverse sliding grooves, compression springs are connected to the inner sides of the transverse sliding blocks, and first friction plates are connected to the outer sides of the transverse sliding blocks; positioning holes are formed in the bottoms of the transverse sliding blocks, and the upper ends of the stop levers are inserted into the positioning holes; and a supporting plate is arranged at the bottom of the elevator car, and second friction plates are connected to the two sides of the supporting plate correspondingly. According to the elevator falling buffering protection device, the elevator car can be effectively buffered and protected, and therefore the safety of personnel in the elevator car is improved.
