The invention relates to a flow switching valve for a heat pump system, a valve assembly for the heat pump system and the heat pump system. The flow switching valve comprises a valve body, a first valve core, a first spring, and a second spring; the first valve core is arranged in the valve body, the first valve core and the valve body form a first communicating cavity, a first input opening of the valve body communicates with a first output opening of the valve body through the first communicating cavity; the second valve core is arranged in the valve body, and the second valve core and the valve body form a second communicating cavity, a second input opening of the valve body communicates with a second output opening of the valve body through the second communicating cavity, the first spring is arranged between the first output opening and the first valve core; the second spring is arranged between the second input opening and the second valve core, when the flow rate of fluid flowing into the first input opening is greater than the preset value, the first valve core and the second valve core are used for compressing the first spring and the second spring separately under pressure, so that the valve body, the first valve core and the second valve core form a third communicating cavity, and the first input opening communicates with the second output opening through the third communicating cavity. The flow switching valve has a simple structure and low cost.
