The invention discloses a lightweight friction welding thrust bar hollow rubber core and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the field of thrust bar rubber cores. The lightweight friction welding thrust bar hollow rubber core comprises a hollow friction welding pin shaft, a rubber body, a left check ring and a right check ring, and the hollow friction welding pin shaft mainly comprises aleft end and a right end. The left end and the right end are fixedly connected through friction welding and are each of a hollow structure. The rubber body is connected to the outer walls of the leftend and the right end in a sleeving manner. The left check ring and the right check ring are arranged at the left end and the right end of the rubber body correspondingly and are connected to the leftend and the right end in a sleeving manner. According to the lightweight friction welding thrust bar hollow rubber core, the quality is stable, a forged blank can be formed easily, the material utilization rate is high, the cost is low, the weight is small, the welding strength is higher than that of base metal, and the welding strength is guaranteed.
