The invention discloses application of a PMMA-PC composite material. The application comprises applying the PMMA-PC composite material to manufacturing of an automobile instrument transparent cover. The PC/PMMA alloy material comprises the following components in parts by mass: 55-70 parts of PC, 16-23 parts of PMMA, 1-3 parts of a light diffusion agent, 2-5 parts of a toughening agent, 1-3 partsof a compatilizer, 0.3-0.6 part of an ultraviolet light absorber, 0.5-1.2 parts of an antioxidant and 0.2-0.8 part of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. According to the PMMA-PC composite material disclosed by the invention, the high permeability of the PMMA material is reserved; meanwhile, the material has the characteristic of good toughness of the PC material; compared with the prior art, thePMMA-PC composite material is beneficial to hot bending forming of composite materials, the PMMA-PC composite material only needs to be subjected to injection molding to form a planar instrument transparent cover, then the planar instrument transparent cover is placed in a hot bending forming mold, bending forming of the instrument transparent cover can be achieved through heating the mold, and the technical problems that a glass material hot bending process is large in difficulty and high in cost are solved.
本发明公开了一种PMMA‑PC复合材料的应用,所述应用包括将PMMA‑PC复合材料应用于制造汽车仪表透明罩中。所述PMMA‑PC复合材料,按照质量份数计算,包括如下组分:PC 55~70份,PMMA 16~23份,光扩散剂1~3份,增韧剂2~5份,相容剂1‑3份,紫外线吸收剂0.3~0.6份,抗氧剂0.5~1.2份,乙烯‑醋酸乙烯酯共聚物0.2~0.8份。本发明中的PMMA‑PC复合材料既保留了PMMA材料的高透性,同时又具有PC材料良好的韧性的特点,有利于复合材料的热弯成型,只需先注塑成型为平面状的仪表透明罩,然后将平面状的仪表透明罩置于热弯成型模具中,通过加热模具即可实现仪表透明罩的折弯成型,解决了玻璃材料热弯工艺难度大,成本高的技术难题。
