The invention relates to a power coupling transmission device, a hybrid power vehicle and an operation method of the hybrid power vehicle. The power coupling transmission device comprises: a shell; afirst input shaft used for receiving power from a first power source; a second input shaft directly connected with a second power source; a third input shaft directly connected with a third power source; and an output shaft is used for outputting power from the first power source, the second power source and the third power source. The second input shaft is parallel to the third input shaft, and the second power source and the third power source are approximately located at the same position in the axial direction. The number of a switching element used by the power coupling device can be onlyone, and the axial size of the power coupling device can be reduced, so that the power coupling device is more compact.
