The invention discloses a novel internal reconnection locomotive consisting of an aeroderivative gas turbine locomotive and an electric locomotive. One section of the novel internal reconnection locomotive is provided with equipment such as a gas turbine generator set, and the other section of the novel internal reconnection locomotive is similar to the current electric locomotive and is generallyused as a freight locomotive in an inseparable manner. On an electrified railway, the locomotive is powered by an overhead line system; on a non-electrified railway, power is provided by an aeroderivative gas turbine generator set, but a main and auxiliary integrated converter, an isolation contactor, a microcomputer control system and the like are shared. When the designed tonnage rating or trailer number is relatively small, the reduced equipment in the internal reconnection locomotive can be integrated on a lengthened gas-electricity integrated six-shaft single-section locomotive, and thelocomotive is degraded into a single-section freight or passenger locomotive. According to the series of novel locomotives, traction power is not reduced in road networks and alpine regions with the same track gauge, uncompilation and compilation are not needed in the process from electrification to non-electrification railways, extension is not needed from non-electrification to electrification railways, the transportation efficiency can be improved, and railway transportation in military and ice and snow disaster periods in wartime is guaranteed.
