The invention provides a brake lamp control method and device and an electric vehicle, and relates to the technical field of vehicle control. The method comprises the steps of obtaining the average vehicle speed of a plurality of vehicle speeds in a preset time period in a driving process of the electric vehicle; obtaining a deceleration between two adjacent average vehicle speeds according to theaverage vehicle speed and a pre-stored correction coefficient; and adjusting the state of a brake lamp according to the plurality of decelerations. According to the scheme, for the vehicle deceleration condition caused by any reason, surrounding vehicles are reminded by turning on the brake lamp, and traffic accidents are avoided.
