The method comprises the following steps: processing afirst surveillance video to obtain training sets corresponding to roads, and inputting the training sets into a preset road prediction model to obtain road prediction models corresponding to the roads; processing a second surveillance video to obtain updated training sets, and inputting the updated training sets into the road prediction models to obtain road prediction optimization models corresponding to the roads; and in response to a congestion degree prediction request of a user for a specified road, processing a third surveillance video of the specified road and the surrounding roads intersected with the specified road to obtain a data set, and inputting the data set into the road prediction optimization model corresponding to the specified road to obtain the congestion degree level of the specified road. The invention further provides an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium. According to the invention, the problem of large error during road congestion degree prediction is solved.
