The control method can determine whether a refrigerant of the air conditioner leaks or not according to the relationship between the first refrigerant concentration and the first threshold value and can determine the refrigerant leak position by detecting the first refrigerant concentration and the second refrigerant concentration when the refrigerant leaks, so that a use or maintenance staff can find parts with refrigerant leak timely, the parts are replaced or maintained in a targeted manner, and the control method can be widely applied to the technical field of air conditioners.
