The method comprises the following steps: an identification positioning device identifies a ship power receiving identification tag for multiple times to generate a plurality of coordinates of a power receiving port and sends the coordinates to a main controller, and the main controller corrects the received coordinates, controls a displacement device to move, and continuously identifies and updates coordinate information until the coordinates move in place during movement. A distance measuring device measures the distance between a charging plug and the power receiving port and sends distance information to the main controller, the main controller corrects the distance information and controls a lifting device to descend the charging plug, and in the descending process, the corrected distance information is continuously measured to achieve docking. The charging docking method has the characteristics of intelligence, unmanned operation, high-power quick charging and the like, and also has the advantages of high wharf site utilization rate, small ship swing influence, wide identification range and the like.
