The invention discloses a road section correlation matrix calculation method based on bayonet data, and the method comprises the following steps of collecting the bayonet data of each bayonet of all road sections, wherein the bayonet data records the license plate number and the passing time of a vehicle passing through the road sections; splitting each road section according to the splitting rulethat the road section provided with the two-way lane is split into two road sections, and the road section provided with the one-way lane is kept unchanged; calculating a driving path of each vehicleby utilizing the bayonet data. The method has the advantage that the relation between the road sections can be known more clearly through the calculation of the correlation of the road sections, andthe method plays a guiding role in congestion analysis, traffic light control and reversible lane setting.
