The invention provides an electrical connector, which comprises a charging socket and a charger plug, wherein the charging socket consists of a resistor, a diode, a positive conductive component, a negative conductive component, a third conductive component and an insulating main body; one end of the resistor is connected with the positive conductive component, the positive electrode of the diodeis connected with the third conductive component, or one end of the resistor is connected with the third conductive component, the positive electrode of the diode is connected with the positive conductive component, and the other end of the resistor and the negative electrode of the diode are connected with the positive electrode of a battery through a positive external power line; or one end of the resistor is connected with the negative conductive component, the negative electrode of the diode is connected with the third conductive component, or one end of the resistor is connected with thethird conductive component, the negative electrode of the diode is connected with the negative conductive component, and the other end of the resistor and the positive electrode of the diode are connected with the negative electrode of the battery through a negative external power line; the positive/negative conductive component and the third conductive component of the charger plug are respectively connected with the positive/negative external power line of the charger.
