The invention belongs to the field of automobile active safety, and discloses a rear vehicle distance light turn-off reminding system and method and an automobile. The system includes an interaction control module and a lamp end execution module; the interaction control module is used for at least acquiring the incident light intensity of a rearview mirror of the vehicle and judging whether the incident light intensity of the rearview mirror of the vehicle is greater than a reminding threshold value, and if so, an interactive reminding image is generated; and the lamp end execution module is used for displaying the interactive reminding image to a rear coming vehicle in a picture and text manner so as to remind the rear coming vehicle to turn off a high beam. The driving safety is greatlyenhanced, and the active safety performance of the vehicle is improved.
