A multi-copolymer contains a non-conjugated polyene unit, a non-conjugated olefin unit and an aromatic vinyl unit. The content of the aromatic vinyl unit is at least 5 mass% and less than 30 mass%. Provided are a cross-linked rubber composition that has higher strength than when EPDM is used while also retaining high weather resistance, a multi-copolymer used for producing a rubber article, and amethod for manufacturing the multi-copolymer.
