The invention provides a gearless permanent magnet synchronous overload traction machine. The gearless permanent magnet synchronous overload traction machine comprises a base, a foundation support, arotating shaft, traction wheels, a rotor assembly, a stator assembly and a brake assembly, wherein the foundation support is mounted on the base and sequentially comprises a front base, a center baseand a rear base; the rotating shaft sequentially penetrates the front base, the center base and the rear base and is rotationally mounted on the front base, the center base and the rear base; the traction wheels are arranged on the rotating shaft in a sleeving manner; the rotor assembly is arranged on the rotating shaft in a sleeving manner; the stator assembly is mounted in the center base and arranged on the rotor assembly in a sleeving manner; and the brake assembly is mounted on the foundation support and used for limiting rotation of a friction disc, and the rotating shaft is fixed. In the traction machine, the front part and the rear part of the rotating shaft are provided with the traction wheels correspondingly, the maximum load of the traction machine can be increased through thetraction wheels at the front position and the rear position, and the traction speed can be increased; and under the work condition that the traction ratio of an elevator is 2:1 and an electromagneticbrake is adopted, the maximum elevator load capacity can reach 25000kg or above, and the speed range is 0.5m/s-10m/s.
