The invention discloses an anti-backlash gear and a meshing installation method, belongs to the technical filed of sensor gear transmission designs of flight control systems, and relates to a RVDT anti-backlash gear transmission design. The anti-backlash gear comprises a gear A, a gear B, a tension spring, a limit pin, a baffle plate and an installation pin; installation holes are formed in the gears, and the installation holes are aligned with the gear tooth phase positions of the gears. A method of process hole positioning, thus the meshing between multiple groups of anti-backlash gears anda main gear is simple and convenient, no teeth is damaged, and the installation quality and production efficiency are improved.
