The present invention relates to a sound absorbing structure and an aircraft propulsion system including the sound absorbing structure. The sound absorption structure comprises a porous layer (32) incontact with a medium through which sound waves travel, a honeycomb layer (34) comprising a plurality of cells (38) and having at least one outer annular channel (40, 40 ') open towards the porous layer (32), and a reflective layer (36). The invention also relates to the aircraft propulsion system comprising at least one sound absorbing structure. The sound absorbing structure according to the present invention allows the noise to be attenuated within a wide frequency band, in addition, can obtain the performance similar to that of the prior art while has a significantly smaller thickness.
