The invention discloses an icing sensor and method capable of calculating an icing rate. The sensor comprises a signal processing circuit, two heating assemblies which are respectively placed on the windward side and the leeward side, and two temperature sensors which are used for detecting the outside temperature of the windward side and the outside temperature of the leeward side respectively, wherein the two temperature sensors are used for detecting the real-time temperature of the windward side and the leeward side; the signal processing circuit is used for controlling the on/off states of the two heating assemblies according to the detected real-time temperature; when the two heating assemblies are in a connected state, the signal processing circuit controls the two heating assemblies to keep the same first preset temperature, and calculates the icing rate according to the current difference of the two heating assemblies. According to the icing sensor and method, the icing thickness can be detected, the icing rate can be calculated, and the icing condition can be detected more comprehensively and effectively.

    本发明公开一种可解算结冰速率的结冰探测器及方法,所述探测器包括信号处理电路,分别放置在迎风面和背风面的两个加热组件,和分别检测迎风面和背风面外界温度的两个温度传感器,其中所述两个温度传感器检测迎风面和背风面的实时温度,信号处理电路根据检测的实时温度,控制两个加热器组件的断开/接通状态;当两个加热器组件处于接通状态时,信号处理电路控制两个加热器组件保持相同的第一预定温度,并依据两个加热器组件的电流差异,解算结冰速率。本发明的结冰传感器及方法不仅可检测结冰厚度,而且可以解算出结冰速率,对结冰状况的检测更加全面、有效。
